Jazz will save the human race tour-Spain 2017

The Cain in Spain stays mainly on the train.....or so it seems.  I am in Spain right now on a jazz oddess, seeking out jazz music in Spain. I have some great jazzers I know in Granada and I'm currently in northern Spain in Galicia where I've found jazz in A Coruna. I'll report back on that later! Jazz can anD will save the human race from itself. I'm an emissary for this cause. I'll be going toSouth Africa in September to spread the word!

Jazz Psalm

The Lord is my drummer, I shall not rush,He maketh me to layout in tasteful places,He leadeth me beside cool meter changes,He restoreth my “one.”Yeah, man, though I read through the trickiest of charts,I will fear no train ...wrecks,For You are with it.Your ride and Your snare they comfort me,You setteth up a solo for meIn the presence of mine guitarists,You anointeth my lines with drive,My groove overfloweth.Surely good feel and swing will follow methrough all the tunes of each set,And I will dwell in the pocket the whole gig long.

Although we receive no financial support from the Mexican government, we do work closely with them. 90% of the children that we care for are brought to us by Mexican Social Services. We have very few true orphans. Many of our kids have been abandoned or come from abusive homes some are with us because their parents simply can no longer care for them. If the children are here due to financial hardship, we encourage their parents to come visit their children as often as they can. Occasionally the children are able to return to their families if it has been determined that they are able to care for them. All our support comes in the form of donations for the US. We work with churches, corporations, and service organizations. The majority of our funding comes from individuals with a desire to help the children. Less than 3% of our budget is used for fundraising. We are a 501©3 non-profit organization and are able to accept tax-deductible charity donations. Such donations can be money (contributions, sponsorships, etc) or goods. We are happy to provide a receipt for all donations. The staff is just the best, friendly and professional. I’m sure my friends and fans will really enjoy the ambience. It’s a fantastic venue for me! Every Wednesday will be the open mic "Noche Bohemia" where international guest singers and musicians are invited to perform with me. This was a very succesful event at my previous venue and it will be a lot of fun to see everyone at the Bahia!" Gringos Del Norte at Airport

Every Cinco de Mayo Cain plays accordion in the group "Los Gringos Del Norte" performing at San Diego's Lindberg field airport welcoming guests to the city. This year was no exception. A visitor from New York asked the group why they make such a big deal about Cinco De Mayo. Cain explained that this was the day in Mexican history when the greatly out numbered Mexican army defeated the French. To which the New Yorker answered, "So, what. Who hasn't?"
